Isabelle looks at him, one eyebrow raised. He's giving her free reign of his wardrobe, of course she's going to dress him in something ridiculous first. He should have known that was the case the moment he came up with the idea.

"You don't look ridiculous normally," she assures him, shaking her head. Billy had a tendency to dress more tamely than Isabelle, but it was hardly bad. At least he had a tendency to wear more colours than Alec. Besides, Isabelle has Magnus to fulfil her fashion needs, even if her brother and boyfriend are hopeless.

It's a short walk to the boutique Isabelle picks out. It's nicer than your average clothes store, but she's careful to keep within a reasonable budget and not somewhere that's going to freak Billy out entirely. "I'm thinking suspenders," she teases him as she opens the door. "Or some kind of absurd hat."
