For a moment Billy completely forgot about all his nerves and worry and pretty much everything in the entire world when Izzy pulled him in for a kiss. His knees got a little weak and his stomach did a weird sort of flip-flop and he just felt amazing in general as he kissed her back. He totally had the best girlfriend in the world.
"I'm here for our date," he said, holding out the orchids to her. He meant to play this off totally cool, like it was a casual thing, but he couldn't stop himself from beaming a smile at her. "I mean, I asked your boss like a month ago to give you the day off. Oh right, I told her not to tell you so it could be a surprise..."
