"If you left I'd cover for you," Billy said. He was glad that Alec was here but he was pretty sure his friend didn't want to be. Even without knowing his brother was dead Alec probably wouldn't really want to be at the party.
"I mean, I'm totally happy you came but I won't be upset if you left. I'll just tell Izzy there was a monster attack or something."
