"I meant because your face is doing that thing again," she tells him, ushering him inside. "Where you look nervous and kind of like you're not really here." It's endearing, but considering the last time she saw him she's pretty sure he ended up with a concussion, she wants to make sure he's okay.
"I admit, I don't know a lot about decorating." It seems like the kind of thing she should know about, but they'd hardly had cause for it at the Institute, and it's not like her and Maryse ever bonded over much of anything, let alone home decorating. It'd been bad enough when she was living with Alec, all of her things strewn around her room, only now she has an entire apartment to herself to hoard things in. Still, she kind of likes it. "They didn't teach us that at the Institute."
