"You really think he's a mundane?" Alec asked Isabelle, nodding down at the Voyance Mark on her hand. He figured she'd felt something coming off Billy but just hadn't been able to figure it out and had defaulted to mundane when Billy didn't tell her.
"Trust me," he said as they pulled up in front of Billy. He glanced down at Billy's pets before looking over at Isabelle to see how she was reacting.
"Trust me. This is something you'll wanna see," he assured her, directing the words towards his sister even as he reached to put a hand on Billy's shoulder. He reached out for Isabelle's hand, waiting for her to take it.
