"Is the problem that you don't trust me with them?" Billy asked. She hadn't said that, not exactly, but it seemed like she didn't trust him, like she thought he was just some kid. That was totally what he had wanted her to think and apparently he had done too good of a job with it. That's probably the first time that had ever happened.
