For Magnus and Isabelle
Mar. 8th, 2016 12:08 amBilly sat down on the large, rectangular case while he waited for Magnus and Isabelle to show up out near the northeast boundary of the city by the ocean. He had been sort of cryptic when he had talked to them earlier, asking them if they could meet to help work on some magic stuff. He was pretty sure that the only reason they had agreed is that they were used to getting cryptic requests from people and because they were curios to see what it was.
It was a weird request and he still wasn't sure if he was doing the right thing. Being responsible for the magical safety of an entire city was a lot of pressure, even if the only one that put the pressure on him was himself. But he'd made up his mind that he needed to start planning for things. Big, magical, bad things that he wouldn't be able to fight on his own.
Magnus was a powerful warlock and would probably fight the good fight because of Alec and because if someone destroyed Darrow then Magnus would be super put out dealing with all that death and destruction. Isabelle was incredibly bad ass too although Billy seen monsters and things that he knew would normally be out of her league. Something like Black Adam or the demon that had crushed his school back home just wasn't something she could take on by herself.
At least not without getting a major power upgrade. Which Billy was pretty sure he could help with. The only problem was the he wasn't 100% sure how the items worked, which was where Magnus came in. If anyone in the city knew how to use them it was Magnus. Or Regina. But right now he trusted Magnus more.
