In the middle of taking Seymour for a walk, Alex wasn't going to check out what the shouting was about other than to glance in that direction, but then a familiar face, somewhat obscured by a hood came racing past, and her curiosity was piqued. Continuing along their walk as if she hadn't seen anything, she watched for where Billy turned a corner.
No one was following him, so odds were he'd stop and regroup before running too far. And when she picked up the puppy to peek around the building at the front of the alley, she was glad to see she'd been right.
